High School Summer Baseball (Capital Lakes Summer Baseball League)

What: 

The DeForest High School baseball program offers a summer baseball opportunity for current high school players in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.    The program participates in the Capital Lakes Summer Baseball League.  This league is comprised of teams from the current Big 8 and Badger North and South Conference schools.  WIAA rules of play will be followed for all divisional games.

Age:

Current Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors participating in baseball.

Where:

Home games will be played on the baseball diamonds at DeForest Area High School and at various high school and/or community diamonds around the league.

Season:

The season begins immediately following the conclusion of the high schools season and runs through mid July.  The regular season will comprise of 12-16 divisional games.

Player Fee: 

$175 (includes a jersey top).  Can be paid upon completion of registration and waiver form on the WD Baseball website, http://www.wdbaseball.com .

Insurance: 

Players are required to have their own health insurance coverage.  The program will have a required liability and accidental insurance policy for the duration of the season.  This will provide for any costs above and beyond player insurance.

Registration:

Simply complete the registration form at this website and make payment by credit card.  Remember to complete and sign the WAIVER FORM.
